Officers investigating a series of shoplifting incidents in Lymington have charged a man in connection with the incidents.
The charges come after a number of supermarkets – including Tesco, Marks and Spencer and Waitrose – reported items being stolen from their premises on multiple occasions between Wednesday 29 June and Sunday 21 August.

He appeared at Southampton Magistrates Court today (23 August) and was remanded in custody, where he will next appear at the same court on Thursday 1 September.
