Isle of Wight man admits non-recent sexual offences

A man has pleaded guilty to a series of non-recent sexual offences on the Isle of Wight.

Graham Medway, aged 64 and formerly of the Freshwater area, appeared at Isle of Wight Magistrates’ Court today (30 August) where he admitted the following offences:

• Assault a girl under 13 by touching – relating to an incident in Yarmouth, on 6 September 2014.
• Assault a girl under 13 by touching – relating to an incident in Shanklin between 20 June 2013 and 22 June 2013.
• 2 counts of indecent exposure – relating to incidents in Freshwater between 1 January 2017 and 24 September 2020.

Medway was remanded in custody to appear at Isle of Wight Crown Court on 4 October for sentencing.
