Two people were arrested on suspicion of drug supply offences following a successful vehicle stop check in Eastleigh yesterday (24 August).
It comes after a vehicle was witnessed acting suspiciously in the Eastleigh area earlier in the day, and was later spotted travelling along Wide Lane and subsequently stopped on Hanns Way just after 10pm.
A man and a woman within the vehicle were detained for the purposes of a search under Section 23 Misuse of Drugs Act.
Officers located, and seized, a quantity of cash and several mobile devices.
A 26-year-old man from Southampton was arrested on suspicion of being concerned in the supply of Class A drugs and entering / remaining in the UK beyond time limit.
While a 34-year-old woman was arrested on suspicion of being concerned in the offer to supply Class A drugs.
They both remain in custody at this time.
