Officers investigating a serious assault at an Eastleigh petrol station have charged a man with a number of offences.
The charges come after two women were allegedly driven into deliberately at a Texaco garage on Southampton Road just before midnight on Tuesday 5 April.
Richard Stuart Taylor, aged 31 of no fixed abode has been charged with attempting to cause grievous bodily harm with intent, possessing an offensive weapon in a public place, possessing a bladed article in a public place and dangerous driving.
He appeared at court this morning (7 April) and was further remanded and is due at Southampton Magistrates Court on Monday 9 May.
