Two men have been arrested on suspicion of drugs offences following a successful stop and search in Lyndhurst.
At around 2.10am this morning (30 Sept), officers from our Response and Patrol team stopped a red Nissan Micra after it was seen to be driving over the speed limit on Lyndhurst High Street,
Officers carried out a search of both the vehicle and the occupants during which they located and seized a quantity of Class B drugs. A number of mobile devices were also seized.
A 19-year-old man from Lymington has been arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply a Class B drug and possession of a bladed article in a public place.
While a 22-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply a Class B drug.
They both remain in custody at this time.
