Officers investigating a serious assault in Basingstoke have charged a man.
Aiden Riley, 32, of Haydn Road, Basingstoke, has been charged with wounding with intent.
It comes after officers were called at 12.02am on Saturday 18 September to reports of a serious assault on Haydn Road.
A man in his 30s suffered a head injury and was taken to hospital for treatment.
Riley has been remanded in custody and is due to appear at Basingstoke Magistrates’ Court today (Thursday 30 September).
