Officers investigating reports of criminal damage in the New Milton area have arrested two people in connection with the incident.
An altercation occurred outside a bar in New Milton at around 11.25pm on Friday 8 October, with a man in his 30s receiving minor injuries as a result. The incident continued outside a residential property on Eastlands whereby a front door was damaged.
As a result, a 26-year-old man of no fixed abode was arrested on suspicion of assault occasioning actual bodily harm, using violent to secure entry to premises and possession with intent to supply a Class B drug.
While a 31-year-old man from Christchurch in Dorset was arrested on suspicion of using violence to secure entry to premises.
They were both later released and given conditional cautions as a result.
