Officers responding to reports of a burglary in progress in Chandler’s Ford have arrested a man.
It was reported that a man entered a store in Fryern Arcade on Winchester Road just before 1am on Sunday 10 October before fleeing the scene.
Officers were deployed to the scene and located a man who matched the description provided by a member of the public and a number of items seized from his property after being searched.
A 40-year-old man from Chandler’s Ford was arrested on suspicion of burglary.
He was later released with a condition caution.
