Officers have arrested a man on suspicion of drugs offences following a successful stop and search in Southampton.
Shortly before 12pm on Tuesday, 26 October, officers patrolling Bedford Place stopped a man suspected to be involved in drug dealing.
Officers carried out a search of the man during which they located and seized a quantity of suspected Class C drugs (spice) and two mobile phones.
This led officers to search an address in Derby Road where a large quantity of empty deal bags and drugs paraphernalia were located and seized.
A 32-year-old man from Southampton has been arrested on suspicion of being concerned in the supply of a Class C drug.
He was questioned by officers and released under investigation while our enquiries continue.
