We have arrested a 30-year-old woman on suspicion of attempted murder as part of our enquiries into an incident that happened on Wednesday 24 November.
We were called to the junction of Ascupart Street and Golden Grove just before 3.30pm where it was reported a man in his 40s had suffered serious injuries to his abdomen. His injuries were consistent with being stabbed.
The man was taken to hospital where he remains in a serious condition.
Yesterday, we made an arrest as part of our enquiries.
The woman remains in police custody at this time.
