Officers responding to reports of a burglary in progress in Eastleigh Town Centre have arrested two men.
It comes after CCTV operators reported two men acting suspiciously around a business premises in the Swan Centre in the early hours of this morning (3 Nov).
Officers were deployed to the scene, and with the support of the CCTV operator, located two men matching the description of those who were acting suspiciously in the area at the junction of Cranbury Road and Leigh Road.
The men were searched and a key fob, which subsequently opened a rear entrance to a business premises in the Swan Centre, was recovered along with a number of bottles of alcohol with pouring spouts which had been found by officers nearby.
Two men, aged 18 and 25 and both from Eastleigh, were arrested on suspicion of burglary.
They remain in custody at this time.
