Man charged with assault and drug offences following incident in Chandler’s Ford

Police officers investigating an assault in Chandler’s Ford have charged a man.
The charges come after a man was assaulted in the early hours of Saturday 27 November at Asda on Bournemouth Road.
Damien John Holland, aged 30, of Gordon Avenue in Southampton has been charged with one count of assault and one count of possession a Class B drug.
He was bailed but will next appear before Southampton Magistrates Court on Tuesday 21 December.
