Officers investigating a burglary at a property in Eastleigh have arrested a man.
It comes after information reported by members of the local community suggested that a purse and bus pass had been stolen from a property on Toynbee Road in the early hours of Friday 19 November.
We also received a further report of an attempted burglary at a different address on the same road at approximately 5.50am on Friday 19 November.
Officers have carried out initial enquiries and have subsequently arrested a 29-year-old man.
He was arrested on suspicion of burglary, attempted burglary, possession of a Class A drug and using threating / abusive / insulting / behaviour with intent to cause fear or violence.
He remains in custody at this time
