Two people have been charged following an incident that involved weapons in Southampton last week.
At 4.30pm on Thursday, 29 April, we were called to a report of around three people fighting in Guildhall Square, Southampton, armed with knives.
No-one was injured.
A 17-year-old boy from Southampton has been charged with possession of a bladed article in a public place and affray.
James Stevenson-Mackie, aged 18, of James Weld Close, Southampton has also been charged with possession of a bladed article in a public place and affray.
Both appeared at Southampton Magistrates’ Court on 1 May. They were released on conditional bail and will next appear at Southampton Magistrates’ Court on 7 May.
