Following last week’s local elections, Donna Jones has been elected as Police and Crime Commissioner for Hampshire and the Isle of Wight.
She will officially take up office on Thursday 13 May.
The result was announced on Monday evening (10 May 2021) with Donna Jones achieving 312,993 of the votes cast across the two counties.
Donna has been a Magistrate in Hampshire for sixteen years. From 2014-2018 Donna was the first woman to be elected the Leader of Portsmouth City Council. Her professional background is in banking and she is married with two teenage sons.
