A Southampton man appeared in court yesterday (25 May) charged with a public order offence, possession of a knife in a public place and assault of an emergency worker.
The charges relate to an incident that took place on Studland Road, Southampton between 11.30am and 12.25pm on Monday 24, May.
James Hillier, aged 29, of Millbrook Road West, Southampton has been charged with using threatening words or behaviour to cause harassment, alarm or distress, possession of a knife in a public place and assault of an emergency worker.
He appeared at Southampton Magistrates’ Court yesterday (25 May) and was remanded to next appear on Monday, 14 June.
