Two men who were arrested yesterday (3 March) following a burglary at Lidl in Southampton have been charged.
Kini Hailstone, aged 26 and Mitchell Reynolds, aged 21, both of no fixed abode, appeared at Southampton Magistrates’ Court today, Thursday 4 March, charged with non-dwelling burglary.
Reynolds was also charged with possession of Class B drugs – cannabis.
The charges come after officers were called at around 1.40am on Wednesday, 3 March, to a report of a burglary at Lidl on Banister Road, in Southampton.
At today’s hearing, Reynolds pleaded guilty to both offences and was sentenced to a total of 15 weeks in jail and ordered to pay £130 fine.
Hailstone pleaded not guilty to non-dwelling burglary. He has been remanded in custody and will next appear in court on the 10 March.
