Officers responding to reports of a burglary in Holbury yesterday (4 March) have since arrested a man in connection.
The incident occurred in the early hours of Thursday morning at a property on Holbury Drove.
Access was gained to the property through a small top window, with officers locating a man matching the description provided by the victim a short while later in the vicinity of the area.
A 29-year-old man from Southampton was arrested on suspicion of burglary dwelling and theft.
He was later released on conditional bail until Thursday 1 April, pending further police enquiries.
