Officers investigating an attempted murder in Hook have charged a man.
We were called just after 5pm on Sunday, 28 March, to reports of a 55-year-old man having a crossbow fired at him and also reported being strangled.
He received minor injuries.
Dane Perry, 36, of King Johns Road in North Warnborough, has been charged and remanded with attempted murder and possession of an offensive weapon.
He is due to appear before Basingstoke Magistrates Court this morning (30 March).
