Two men have been arrested following a serious assault in Andover.
We were called just before 4.30pm yesterday, 16 June, to reports of a group fighting on London Street.
On arrival, officers located a 54-year-old man with a head wound. He has been taken to hospital to be treated for his injuries, which are considered serious but not life-threatening at this time.
A 23-year-old man and a 48-year-old man, both from Andover, were arrested on suspicion of grievous bodily harm with intent. The 48-year-old man was also arrested on suspicion of possession of cannabis.
They both remain in custody at this time.
