A man has been arrested after several bags of suspected Class A drugs were found on his person during a proactive stop.
Officers were patrolling on Staple Gardens, Winchester, this morning (11 June) when at around 12.50am they conducted a proactive search under Section 23 of the Misuse of Drugs Act.
A 21-year-old man from Southampton was subsequently arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply Class A drugs. He remains in custody at this time.
A quantity of bags containing white powder, cash, and a phone were seized.
A 23-year-old man received a community resolution for possession of cannabis.
