Two men have been charged with firearms and drugs offences following a stop search in Southampton on 5 July.
Officers from the Roads Policing Unit stopped a grey Mercedes car in Laburnum Road, Southampton, and the two men inside were searched.
Kiran Porter, 24, from Honeysuckle Road, Southampton, was charged with two counts of possessing a handgun, two counts of assault by beating of an emergency worker, and possession with intent to supply cocaine.
Patryk Jesiolowski, 24, from Harefield Road, Southampton, was charged with two counts of possessing a handgun, possession with intent to supply cocaine and possession of cocaine.
Both appeared at Southampton Magistrates’ Court on 8 July, where they were both further remanded in custody to appear at Southampton Crown Court on 6 August.
