Officers investigating reports of an offensive weapon incident have arrested a teenager.
It comes after a CCTV operator spotted an individual appearing to be in possession of a knife in Leigh Road Recreational Park in Eastleigh yesterday evening (18 July) at around 7.10pm.
Officers located a man in the area matching the description given, conducted a search and seized a knife.
A 15-year-old boy from Bishopstoke was arrested on suspicion of possession of a knife in a public place.
He remains in custody at this time.
