The charges come after we were called to reports of a suspicious man carrying weapons in Spear Road at around 6.17pm on Saturday 4 July.
On arrival, a 46-year-old man was located and arrested.
A man, in his 50’s, was later located at an address in Alma Road, with deep cut wounds to his head and a cut to his arm.
