Two men have been charged following an incident on Gosport High Street over the weekend.
It’s alleged that on Saturday 11 December, two patrolling PCSOs, whilst attempting to move two people from the area under a Public Spaces Protection Order (PSPO), were subjected to verbal abuse and threats.
Glen Matthew Isham, aged 43, of Trinity Green in Gosport, was charged with common assault of an emergency worker.
Jody Alyn Hayles, aged 44 of no fixed abode, was charged with using threatening, abusive or insulting words/behaviour with intent to cause fear of violence.
Both were remanded in custody to appear at Portsmouth Magistrates’ Court today (Monday 13 December).
