Man charged with drink-drinking offences following road traffic collision in Fawley

Officers investigating a road traffic incident in the Fawley area yesterday (15 Dec) have charged a man.
The charges come after a silver Vauxhall was reported to be involved in a single-vehicle collision on Stanswood Road at around 3.15pm and the driver breathalysed at the scene.
Liam John Barton, aged 32, of Lepe Road, Blackfield in Southampton was charged with drink driving.
He will appear at Southampton Magistrates Court on Thursday 13 January 2022.
