Officers investigating a number of reports of thefts from motor vehicles in Botley have arrested a man.
A concerned members of the public that vehicles were being broken into in the early hours of this morning (27 August) at around 3am along Kingsman Drive in Botley.
Officers were deployed and an extensive area search was conducted to locate possible offenders or any possessions which may have been stolen as a result. They located an individual in the vicinity, who local residents allege to be involved in the incident.
A 52-year-old man from Yeovil was arrested on suspicion of theft from a motor vehicle and vehicle interference.
He remains in custody at this time.
