A woman has been charged with possession of an offensive weapon following a proactive stop search in Eastleigh in the early hours of Friday 13 August.
Officers from the Roads Policing Unit stopped a black Vauxhall on Chestnut Avenue in Eastleigh, and the woman inside the vehicle was searched.
Alexandra Elizabeth Mairis, aged 30, of Alexander Square, Eastleigh was charged with possession of a bladed article in a public place.
She was bailed and will appear at Southampton Magistrates Court on Thursday 2 September.
