Officers investigating a robbery in Horndean on August 3 have arrested a boy.
The incident happened at around 5.55pm on Stonechat Road.
A 13-year-old boy was walking his dog when he was approached by an unknown person, who asked the dog's name. The dog was then forcefully taken and the the person made off in a blue car with a second unknown person.
The boy was uninjured and the dog later returned.
A 17-year-old boy from Portsmouth has been arrested on suspicion of robbery. He has been released on bail while our enquiries continue.
