Officers conducting a routine stop search of a vehicle in Hedge End have arrested two men in connection with drug offences.
The incident occurred at around 2.50pm on Saturday 17 April – with officers stopping a vehicle on Timpson’s Tollbar Way after observing poor driving standards.
The driver failed a drugs wipe, while a quantity of Class B drugs were also located and seized as a result. A 19-year-old man from Winchester was arrested on suspicion of driving whilst unfit through drugs and possession with intent to supply a Class B drug.
The passenger of the vehicle was also searched with a quantity of drugs located and seized. A 20-year-old man from Winchester was arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply a Class A drug.
Both men have been released under investigation.
