Man charged following incident in Ascupart Street, Southampton

A man has been charged following an incident that took place in Ascupart Street, Southampton at around 7.20pm on Saturday, 5 September.
Waldemar Coelho, 26, of Dale Valley Road, Southampton has been charged with affray and possession of a bladed article in a public place.
It comes after officers patrolling the area came across a fight involving a number of people in Ascupart Street.
A section 34 dispersal order was immediately authorised to disperse the group.
Coelho was remanded and appeared at Southampton Magistrates’ Court yesterday morning, 7 September.
