A man has been charged with drugs offences after he was stopped and searched in Denzil Avenue, Southampton at around 11.30am yesterday (Wednesday,14 October).
Jaspreet Khunkhun, aged 19 of Parsonage Road, Southampton, was charged with two counts of possession with intent to supply a class A drug and possession of a class B drug.
An 18-year-old man from Southampton was arrested on suspicion of being concerned in the supply of class A drugs.
He was questioned by officers and then released from police custody, but remains under investigation.
Khunkhun was remanded to appear at Southampton Magistrates’ Court this morning, Thursday 15 October.
