Two men have been arrested by officers in Totton on suspicion of possessing cannabis with intent to supply.
They were detained in a layby near to the A326, close to Valley Road in Hounsdown, at around 5.55pm on Friday 9 October following a routine search by officers.
Officers seized a quantity of cannabis, a quantity of cash and drug-related paraphanelia during subsequent searches of the vehicle.
A 57-year-old man from Chandler’s Ford was arrested on suspicion of possessing cannabis with intent to supply and possession of criminal property. He was later released under investigation while police enquiries continue.
A 27-year-old-man from Totton was arrested possessing cannabis with intent to supply. He was handed a community resolution order.
