Officers investigating an attempted break-in at a former nightclub in Eastleigh have arrested a teenager in connection with the incident.
The incident occurred at 2.14pm on Saturday 17 October at the site of the old Martine’s nightclub on Market Street, following reports by a CCTV operator of a burglary in progress.
Upon arrival on the scene, officers detained three teenagers in relation to the attempted break-in.
A 13-year-old boy and a 14-year-old boy were released from the scene with no further action taken.
An 18-year-old boy from Bishopstoke was arrested on suspicion of burglary. He was later released under investigation, pending further enquiries.
