A man has been charged following a firearms incident in St Mary’s Street, Southampton.
At around 2.20pm, Saturday, 21 November, a man entered Pizza House restaurant and had an exchange with a customer inside, during which he reportedly pulled a handgun from his waistband before leaving.
Yesterday, (25 November) detectives charged Samuel Boylan, 31, of Honeysuckle Road, Southampton, with possession of a firearm with intent to cause fear of violence.
Boylan appeared before Southampton Magistrates’ Court this morning (26 November) and has been remanded to appear at Southampton Crown Court on Wednesday, 23 December.
