A man has been charged with assaulting officers in Fordingbridge who were on patrol and investigating a breach of national restrictions.
The charges come after two officers were assaulted who had sought to disperse a group breaching the national restrictions at around 6pm on Saturday 7 November.
Lee John Wells, aged 38 of no fixed abode, was charged with two counts of assaulting emergency workers.
He was bailed and is due to re-appear at Southampton Magistrates Court on Thursday 10 December.
