Two men who were arrested following an incident in Oakridge Road, Basingstoke, in the early hours of May 20, have been released on conditional bail while police enquiries continue.
The incident occurred at 12.31am on May 20 and resulted in both men, one aged 28 and the other aged 33, being taken to hospital with injuries. They have both since been discharged.
One of the men sustained lacerations to his fingers and the other sustained cuts to his arms and head.

The 28 year old man has also been charged with assaulting a police officer by kicking him. He appeared before Basingstoke Magistrates Court this morning where he pleaded guilty to the charge and has been sent to prison for 28 days.
