Police confirm identity of body found in Havant Thicket

We are now in a position to confirm that the body found in Havant woodland on Thursday 21 May is that of 16-year-old Louise Smith.
Louise, from the Leigh Park area, was reported missing on Friday 8 May (VE Day).
Formal identification procedures have been completed. Louise’s family have been informed and are being supported by specialist officers.
