Officers investigating an attempted theft from a car in Basingstoke have charged a man.
Jay Alex Charles Sleator, 31, of Attwood Close, Basingstoke, vehicle interference, following an incident in Tubb Way on May 12.
He has also been charged with fraud by false representation, relating to an incident at Tesco Express in Oakridge Road, Basingstoke, on the same date, harassment and breaching a non-molestation order.
He was remanded in custody to appear at Basingstoke Magistrates' Court this morning (June 1).
