The family of a woman who died following a collision involving a car and pedestrian in Totton last week have paid tribute to her.
Sheila Watson, 74, of Haydock Close, Totton, was taken to hospital after the collision, which also involved a Volkswagen Tiguan, just after 3.30pm last Monday (March 23).
Sadly, she was pronounced dead in hospital on Thursday afternoon.
Mrs Watson’s family today paid tribute to her.
In a statement, they said: “She was a lovely, kind and thoughtful lady, who would do anything for anyone.
“She was loved by so many. She will be greatly missed by us all, our hearts are broken.”
Officers are investigating the exact circumstances of the collision.
They remain keen to speak with anyone who may be able to assist their enquiries, who they have not already spoken with.
