Seven charged in connection with alleged Gosport drugs conspiracy

Seven people have been charged in relation to an alleged Class A drug supply conspiracy in Gosport.

The investigation, launched by officers from Hampshire Constabulary’s Serious and Organised Crime Unit, focused on the period between 1 September 2018 and 1 May 2019.

On Friday 28 February this year, the following people were charged or issued a summons to court:

• Jack Zachary Darvill, aged 21 years, of Central Road in Fareham, charged with two counts of conspiracy to supply a Class A drug.
• Rayhaan Hoque, aged 37 years, of Woolmore Street, Tower Hamlets, London, charged with two counts of conspiracy to supply a Class A drug.
• John Edward Parham, aged 32 years, of The Crossways in Gosport, charged with two counts of conspiracy to supply a Class A drug.
• Luke Alan Goldsmith, aged 27 years, of Rambler Drive, Gosport, charged with two counts of conspiracy to supply a Class A drug, and one count of perverting the course of justice.
• Jacob James, aged 25 years, of Briar Close, Gosport, charged with two counts of conspiracy to supply a Class A drug.
• Lance Burt, aged 21 years, of Bury Hall Lane in Gosport, charged with two counts of conspiracy to supply a Class A drug.
• Liam Whitnell, aged 36 years, of no fixed abode, summonsed to court to face two charges of conspiracy to supply a Class A drug.

All seven are due to appear at Portsmouth Magistrates’ Court on Thursday 26 March.
