Detectives investigating drug-related harm in Portsmouth have charged a man.
Stephen Gomes, 30, from London, has been charged with two counts of being concerned in the supply of Class A drugs of cocaine and heroin.
He has also been charged with two counts of possession with intent to supply a controlled drug of Class and possession of criminal property.
He appeared at Portsmouth Magistrates Court this morning (March 5) and was remanded in custody to appear at Portsmouth Crown Court on April 6.
It comes after officers arrested two men, one in London and one in Tokio Road, Portsmouth on Tuesday morning (March 3).
A 64-year-old man, from Portsmouth, was arrested on suspicion of being concerned in the supply of a controlled drug of Class A. He has been released from custody but remains under investigation as our enquiries continue.
