Two men have been charged following an assault in Leigh Park.
We were called at 4.26pm on 30 May, where it is alleged that a man suffered minor injuries to his face when he was assaulted by two men carrying a knife and a wooden truncheon on Greywell Road.
Ricky John Shields, aged 41 years, of Dunsbury Way in Havant, and Steven John Dickson, aged 38 years, of Osborn Road in Fareham, were both arrested and charged with attempting to cause grievous bodily harm with intent, and possession of an offensive weapon in a public place.
They appeared at Portsmouth Magistrates’ Court on 1 June, and were both remanded in custody to appear at Portsmouth Crown Court on 29 June.
