A woman has been charged with robbery following an incident in Southsea.
It’s alleged that shortly before 4pm on 26 July, a woman in her 90s had her purse stolen on Palmerston Road.
Officers deployed and subsequently arrested and charged 52-year-old Amanda Deary, of Unicorn Road in Portsmouth with robbery.
She appeared at Portsmouth Magistrates’ Court the next day (27 July) and is due to appear at Portsmouth Crown Court on 24 August.
