Police officers investigating a robbery in Hamble-le-Rice have today (31 July) charged a man.
A man was threatened at knifepoint in a car that he was occupying in the early hours of Thursday 30 July on Hamble Lane, after being approached by another man. The suspect subsequently stole the victims vehicle which was later located by police in Fareham. A pursuit ensued and officers detained a man on suspicion of burglary.
Bradley Mottram, 19, of Verdon Avenue, Hamble-le-Rice has been charged with one count of robbery, one count of driving while disqualified, one count of driving while under the influence of alcohol, one count of dangerous driving and one count of failing to stop.
He appeared before Southampton Magistrates Court this morning (31 July).
