Detectives investigating two incidents, one in Blackwater and the other in Yateley, have made an arrest.
The first incident, an altercation between youths, took place in Oak Farm Close, Blackwater, at around 7.14pm on Thursday 9 July.
The second incident took place in the grounds of St Peter’s Church, off Reading Road, Yateley, between 8.30pm and 8.45pm on the same day.
Two men in their 20s were assaulted and received injuries after being approached by a group of around eight people.
Officers are establishing the circumstances of these two incidents and are looking to see if they are linked.
Last night (Friday 10 July), a 16-year-old boy from Yateley was arrested in connection with both of these incidents and is currently in police custody.
He was arrested on suspicion of causing grievous bodily harm with intent, possession of a controlled drug of Class B, affray and possession of a weapon in a public place.
