We were called at 6.15am today (Sunday 19 January) to reports of an assault in the Lindsay Road area of Thornhill.
On arrival, officers found a 17 year-old boy with a stab wound. He is currently being treated in Southampton General Hospital and is in a serious condition.
A 15 year-old boy from Andover has been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder. He remains in police custody at this time.
There will be increased police patrols in the area today so if you have any concerns, please come speak to our officers.
