Detectives investigating a robbery in Portsmouth in the early hours of Sunday have charged a man.
Jordan Hill, 19, of Greetham Street, Portsmouth, has been charged with robbery.
It comes following an investigation into a robbery of a 21-year-old man in Guildhall Square, just after midnight on February 16.
The victim suffered significant injuries to his face and had his phone stolen.
Mr Hill has also been charged with an assault on an emergency worker. This relates to an assault of a police officer on February 16.
Jordan Hill was due to appear at Portsmouth Magistrates Court today (February 17).
