Police officers investigating reports of threats to kill being made have arrested a man in connection with the incident.
It occurred at around 6pm on Monday 7 December at Southampton General Hospital.
A 23-year-old man made multiple threats to kill which he disclosed during a consultation with a nurse at the hospital.
Due to the nature of the incident, officers attended his home address that evening and arrested him on suspicion of making threats to kill.
He was later released on police bail.
