Officers investigating thefts from shops in Portsmouth have charged a man with 13 offences.
Lyley Daniells, 33, of no fixed abode, has been remanded in custody after being charged with 13 counts of theft from a shop.
The charges come following incidents in Portsmouth between June 26 and August 29.
He was remanded to appear before Portsmouth Magistrates' Court today (August 31).
The investigation was part of Operation Monster, which sees local officers in Portsmouth working with businesses to tackle shoplifting and other offences against them.
